1.

What is your area of specialty in Real Estate?

Residential

2.

Tell us a little about your journey and what led you to become a realtor.

I was in college with the original plan to go to medical school. While I was applying for medical school, I realize that the applications were very expensive so I started working in real estate at my parents company. My parents had been in real estate for over 20 years at that time. My father was a mortgage banker, and my mother was a real estate broker. Once I got myself going, I realized that I loved the hustle, I loved putting deals together and changing peoples lives through real estate.

3.

How important is it in Miami to know another language? Do you speak any other languages?

English Spanish and basic Portuguese. Speaking multiple language languages paramount in a city as multicultural as Miami.

4.

In one word, name one characteristic that is essential to be successful in Miami real estate.

Drive

5.

Do you prefer being a listing agent or buyers agent? Why?

I do both and although I love Listings, there’s nothing as impactful as representing a buyer in their first Miami home. It’s really a life-changing experience and it’s fun to be a part of that.

6.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone considering investing in real estate in Miami?

Work with the right agent. Education of the market and in the market is more important than anything. You need an agent that knows what happened in the past what’s happening today and the direction it’s leading in the future.

7.

What do you think about AI for realtors? Have you started to use it?

I think AI is a great tool and I am using it to digest data create market reports and really present the facts in a way that is easy to understand for both buyers and sellers. We need to embrace AI and make it work for us rather than be replaced by it.

8.

What's your favorite neighborhood in Miami, why?

It’s hard to choose. Miami has so many neighborhoods that offer many different things but all around lifestyle is key. I love my neighborhood of Shenandoah or what I call historic Coral Way. It is central to everywhere you wanna go and has amazing restaurants and bars, but it’s also got a neighborhood vibe. It’s very walkable to both Coconut Grove, Little Havana, and even Brickell.

9.

What's the biggest sale you’ve had to date?

$3.55 million is my largest single sale but I don’t focus on the numbers. I focus on how many people I’ve been able to help and focusing on that rather than the money will keep the money flowing. I’ve been in this business long enough and have seen many agents come and go. The agents that focus on their clients, best interest, and being of service first and foremost, will always last and make good money in any market.

10.

What advice would you give to anyone considering starting a real estate career in South Florida?

You have to work to learn before you work to earn.

Collaboration and partnership are the cornerstone of having a successful real estate career. I created this interview series to help promote other realtors on my platform in a fun and engaging way. If you're interested in being featured in Peter Anthoni Asks, click the link below.
